Benefit Packages SSO helps it's members and their families to cope with difficult situations in their life, whenever they might happen. If you live happily within your family and you enjoy a good health condition related to your age, you will be amongst luckiest members of SSO. However, if you are confronted one day with risks, such as illness, work incapacity or even death, SSO is ready to support you. The same holds true for "good risks" like pregnancy and after entering into your retirement age. As a SSO member, you will then receive a retirement pension for the rest of your life. The SSO benefits are structured as follows: Medical Care Benefit: Short-term Benefits:These benefits financially compensate you for the loss of income due to illness, pregnancy or death. Be aware, the costs for health care are already covered by the Medical Care Benefit. The majority of Short-term benefits are for SSO members only, but some entitle your whole family. more.... Long-term Benefits: Insured persons can gain from a lifelong pension after entering into retirement age. Spouses and children are even covered beyond the death of insured persons through survivor benefits. If insured persons permanently loose their working capacity, invalidity benefits will be available. Workplace Related Benefits: In case of work accident or work injury, SSO members are entitled to comprehensive services and financial compensation. These benefits are paid by employers' contribution only. |

How much do they cost?
All above-mentioned benefits will be available by regularly paying reasonable contributions. For SSO members, it is maximum 4.5% of the monthly salary. The employers pay the same amount and another 0.5% for the workplace benefits. More.... |
How and where to get the benefits?
Medical care benefits are offered free of charge directly by the hospital. For short- and long-term benefits, the members have to contact the SSO office. More.... |
